What is a Financial Coach?

As a financial coach, I help you learn the strategies of managing your everyday finances, cultivate money management skills and improve your overall financial wellness. We unearth what drives your decisions and assist with the emotional and behavioral components of managing money, not simply the concepts of money. These skills lead to developing a healthier attitude towards money, better habits and a quicker path to reaching your goals!    

How is this different from a financial advisor? Both coaches and advisors help people manage their finances, however, they play different roles. 

Financial Advisor is a broad term which usually refers to a range of professionals who help build or manage wealth and associated risk. Some may help you pick investments for retirement planning, others may assist with estate planning. 

Financial Coaches work to help identify specific struggles, habits, and goals you may have and assist you with strategy and growth for change. We help you gain clarity and a plan. Think of me as a life coach for your money!

STEP 2: Once we determine that coaching is right for you we can book your 90 minute Delta Session where we gain a new perspective on your financial status and identify trouble spots. 

STEP 3: After the Delta Session most clients want more! Our 6 Month Coaching program provides accountability and structure. We leverage the Plan Ahead Method to build a customized budget that lets you see money inflows and outflows months in advance. It is all about setting goals, planning smart to avoid those unexpected whammy expenses and ultimately reaching your goals faster!
